A complete prevention and reporting framework
Our office prepared a policy for the prevention and handling of violence and harassment in the workplace for an insurance company.
The policy defines its personal and territorial scope, the prohibited conduct and the responsibilities of management, senior personnel, employees and the designated reporting officer. It also establishes preventive measures, risk-assessment principles and channels for reporting incidents.
A structured internal process was included for receiving and investigating reports, protecting confidentiality, supporting affected persons, preventing retaliation and determining appropriate measures where a breach is established.
